Help DRC Grow

Hello to all from Ottomic Blue,
The record industry is as fickle of a bitch as any other business can be, and as this wonderul DRC tree grows from the Linoleum seeds.. .I'm here to let you know you can help it flourish. You'll notice many acts often address the fact that if it wasn't for the fans, they would be nothing. This is true to an extent, in a "tree falling in the woods" way. "If an emcee/producer is dope and no one's there to hear it.. do they still rock?". Well, of course they do! Another analogy could be a priceless painting stashed in an attic, why have this piece of art and someone's soul stashed away. Is it still as beautiful if no one sees it.

As I have a tendency to do, I am getting long winded here. The point I am making here is that fans are the water and sun that make these seeds of talent grow into trees for all to see. Let me tell you, Drugrat City is about to become a forest. Word is spreading through the underground, album are being bumped from computers to cars nationwide. We do our best to offer as much free music as we can for you, which is a catch 22 of sorts. As we spread all our albums to you and yours as a non profit, it holds us back from getting discs printed for all who want hard copies. This is why we offer the "on demand" cd printing of all your favorites!

If you would like to do your part to help us grow, check out the itunes albums, grab an on demand cd, or very simply click our donate button. This will aid us in continuing to show up to our shows with bags of free cds and other merch. Every little bit helps.

More so than monitarily, the most help you can do is simply rock out! Bump your favorite DRC cds, burn our free downloads and give out to your friends, or even the sharing of info online. WIth the advent of social websites, if everyone spread the word and reposted our news and media...well, you get the point. So folks, in closing. We receive all the messages and appreciate the love we are getting. Being an independent label, we do all our own promo (meaning booking, magazines, radio stations etc) but still can only do so much. Print out some flyers, spread the sites and music. Support your local and underground artists!!
